Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is dead. And so are Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Abe (James Reynolds). Stephanie (Abigail Klein) too. Ditto Seth Burns and Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans). It’s a blood bath in Salem, and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) seems to be the one responsible…emphasis on the seems.

Turns out that bloodshed (and trust us, there’s going to be a lot of bloodshed) is merely in the overactive mind of Body & Soul‘s headwriter Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Your favorite Salemites are alive and well and going about their lives on the set of the soap within a soap. (How meta!)
DAYS Spoilers: In The Real Reel World
Johnny (Carson Boatman) did a bad, bad thing when he blithely assumed that his bride had bedded Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), which he compounded with his night out on the town with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and then calling Chanel (Raven Bowens) out on her perceived infidelity. Now that the truth has been outed, his very, very sorry for his actions. Will Chanel ever be able to forgive him? Maybe…maybe. But only if Johnny manages to keep his dalliance a secret!
Speaking of Joy, look for Kate (Lauren Koslow) to welcome her aboard the always out-of-control train that is Body & Soul. Surely she won’t regret the hire. It’s not like Joy is poised to break up Johnny’s marriage or anything. Wait….
Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Alex and Stephanie navigating the fallout from their on-set encounter. Who knew that sex could be so complicated — and that it could so complicate a beautiful relationship?
