Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 18, 2024, promise a romantic day in Salem as love lives take high and low turns.

A New Start For ‘Janel’

When Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) married the first time, it was a spur-of-the-moment decision off-screen while they were traveling through Europe. When they divorced, it was under false pretenses as Johnny was possessed by the devil, so he wasn’t really the one who dumped Chanel.

The pair have been together again for a few months and things have been pretty smooth sailing, so Johnny decides he wants to give marriage another try. This time, Chanel tells him he needs to ask her properly so that’s what he does. Chanel is not prepared for this moment, so it will come as both a joy and a surprise. Is she ready to take the plunge once again?

More Romance On The Horizon

While Johnny and Chanel enjoy their evening, Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) do the same. However, it’s not all fun and games when it appears that Wendy finds an object that leaves her awfully suspicious about what’s going on in their apartment.

Then there’s Tripp’s mom Ava (Tamara Braun) who might be leaving things around that she shouldn’t. She knows Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) wants to be with her, but also knows she can’t be with him. This leaves poor Harris heartbroken as he confides in Rafe (Galen Gering) about his feelings for Ava.

Problems For Theresa

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) thought they could finally rest easy knowing that Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) was in a safer facility. They might not be able to talk to him for a month but at least he wasn’t in Statesville anymore.

However, it doesn’t look like they stay happy and relaxed for long. Brady is quickly alarmed when Theresa goes missing and joins forces with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) to find her. Does her disappearance have anything to do with Konstantin and the secret she is keeping about Alex’s real paternity?

When that little tidbit comes out, Theresa may have to find a new place to live.
