Grab all the tissues you can because you’re going to need them. Today, Days of our Lives wraps up Bill Hayes’s iconic run as Doug Williams with scenes featuring his on-screen and real-life wife (and birthday girl) Susan Seaforth Hayes’s Julie. They won’t be alone, though. The storyline will also feature a visit from Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Jack (Matthew Ashford), and Chad (Billy Flynn).

This will also be the day Chad and Jack go to the gravesite to exhume Abigail’s coffin. Her very empty coffin, as they’ll soon find out. It won’t be long now before there’s a massive manhunt for Chad’s beautiful wife. Where in the world is she and will Chad and Jack find her before it’s too late?

In addition, Days of our Lives turns up the heat with Everett (Blake Berris) when he gets an unexpected visitor. Who is coming to see him? Will it be Jada (Elia Cantu)? Stephanie (Abigail Klein)? The authorities? He says he can help solve a murder so it should come as no surprise people want answers.

Meanwhile, Leo (Greg Rikaart) drops in for another therapy session with Marlena (Deidre Hall). Poor Leo has been down on his luck and scheming alongside the very worst people. Is his life finally turning around? What Leo wants more than anything is love. Can Marlena help him find the confidence to chase that dream?
