Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal tensions running high over Holly’s drug overdose and Tate’s subsequent imprisonment.
Lives Torn Apart
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) are still in anguish over Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) coma while Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) fear for their son. Nicole finally leaves Holly’s side to go home, change, and get some rest while EJ continues to put all the blame on Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) and very little on the drug ring making its way through Salem. EJ may know who is behind it, but he is not about to let Nicole know the truth.
Nicole begins to wonder if her husband might be right and lashes out at Brady when he pays her a visit at the DiMera mansion. Later, Brady vows on his grandfather’s grave to get to the bottom of what happened while EJ vows to do the same on his father’s grave — pitting the Bradys and the Kiriakis clans against one another.
Maybe Nicole and Brady need to remember that at one time they planned to raise Holly and Tate together and even went on the run with their children when Nicole kidnapped Holly from Chloe before gaining full custody.
Lucas To The Rescue?
In the end, it comes down to getting these drugs off the Salem streets and Harris (Steve Burton) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) think they have an idea. If the drugs really are coming from Clyde Weston’s (James Read) operation (and EJ and the audience know that they are), then they need someone on the inside to bring him down.
To that end, they recruit Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) to get all the info they need in exchange for being released from prison early. Will Lucas take them up on this proposal and put his own life in danger?
