This week’s Days of Our Lives recap for January 15-19, 2024, details more life changes for Holly and Tate, dinner-time entertainment, bold cops move, and a little romance.
Holly and Tate’s Fate
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) gave it some thought and finally agreed to allow Holly (Ashley Puzemis) to be transported to the same Italian clinic that helped bring EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) back to life. Nicole, EJ, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), and Eric (Greg Vaughan) all said their goodbyes to the comatose teen as she was prepped for safe travels.
Meanwhile, Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) were relieved that Justin managed to get Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) transferred out of Statesville and into a rehab facility, but they couldn’t have contact with him for 30 days. That sent Theresa into a tailspin as she worried about her son.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) was alarmed when Theresa later went missing in the middle of the night. He and Brady found her high as a kite in a seedy motel room and brought her home to come down from her high. That’s when she planted a kiss on Brady when she thought Alex wasn’t looking.
Salem Romance
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) completed her move into Xander’s (Paul Telfer) apartment. While Xander was alarmed at all she brought with her, he was amused when he learned she had a Xander Box full of mementos of special times together. That led to the platonic roommates taking things to the next level.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) also had some romance in their lives when Johnny proposed to Chanel by getting down on one knee and presenting her with a DiMera ring. They even considered Valentine’s Day as a wedding date.
Family Dinners Gone Wrong
A nervous Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) decided to relax with a little wine before hosting John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) for dinner. However, she couldn’t stop drinking and made a complete fool of herself in front of Marlena, a. woman she found to be intimidating. Marlena then wondered if Sloan had an alcohol problem but Eric later assured her that she did not.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) hosted Stephanie (Abigail Klein), Everett (Blake Berris), Tripp (Lucas Adams), and Wendy (Victoria Grace) for dinner. Steve went into nosy dad mode again and grilled Everett about his relationship with Stephanie. As expected, Stephanie was mortified.
More Trouble From Clyde Weston
Harris (Steve Burton) took matters into his own hands and led a raid on The Bistro, freaking out Ava (Tamara Braun) and Stefan (Brandon Barash). At least Clyde (James Read) knew it was coming and got someone to get the drugs out of there in time. Later, Harris begged Ava to tell him what was really going on but to no avail.
Clyde also had a hand in some trouble in Statesville when Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) found himself beaten and battered.
