This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of April 22nd, 2024, featured Sloan feeling the heat, news of an old flame, a bait and switch, and so, so much more!
Monday, April 22
Kate (Lauren Koslow) returned from the monastery just as Roman (Josh Taylor) got off the phone updating Sami. Kate wanted to talk to Harris (Steve Burton) ASAP and set out to track him down. Once she found him, she laid into him.
Unfortunately, Harris was supposed to be on the lookout while Ava (Tamara Braun) searched the cafe for Gil’s black book which allowed Stefan (Brandon Barash) to sneak up on Ava. They had it out and Stefan demanded her keys.
Later, Ava was also ripped into by Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). She was sick of Ava’s antics and warned her to stay away from her husband. At the same time, Harris and Stefan also had it out.
Meanwhile, Paulina (Jackée Harry) was put back in isolation with stern orders to stay put. She and Abe (James Reynolds) connected and makeup while video chatting. Chanel (Raven Bowens) had a sprained ankle but was overall okay. She was more okay with Johnny (Carson Boatman) surprised her with a staycation and a song.
Tuesday, April 23
Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) felt the heat when Eric (Greg Vaughan) called her out again. The numbers were not adding up, despite her manipulating the budget. She balked at the idea she was mishandling the money and stormed out with the baby. Eric checked the mail and got another past-due bill, this time with charges listed for the Salem Inn.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) confronted Theresa (Emily O’Brien) about running to Maggie and was stunned to hear Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was engaged to Konstantin (way to change the subject, Theresa!). He flew off the handle while Theresa tried to assure him that Konstantin wasn’t a con and wouldn’t touch Maggie’s money (lies!).
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) got into it with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) over work and with Brady (Eric Martsolf) over their daughter — and her (faux) relationship with Alex.
Later, EJ tried to persuade Nicole to NOT get a job. Why work when you have a rich-rich husband? Nicole suggested she needed something of her very own to concentrate on. She wanted a job.
The teen scene got a new member via Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) bestie, Sofia (Madelyn Kientz), who has a crush on Tate (Leo Howard). The girls hit up the pub and Sofia was practically drooling into her breakfast.
Wednesday, April 24
After much talk, Roman agreed to let Ava live above the pub with Harris, which was great. Not so great was the pair failing yet again to find Gil’s book. They discussed breaking in and wondered if that was the way to go.
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) gave Jada (Elia Cantu) the news that Everett signed the divorce papers, and at the same time, Everett threw them away. He spent the day acting rather odd (more than usual) but did eventually hand the papers over which was a great relief.
Stephanie met with Tripp (Lucas Adams) and suggested he and Wendy (Victoria Grace) go away for a bit, while at the same time, Kristen convinced Wendy the DiMera family wanted to set up a scholarship in Li’s honor. Tripp bought tickets to Hong Kong which brought Wendy to tears.
Thursday, April 25
Theresa cleaned out her office and flirted with Alex for a hot second before taking off to see Brady. On her way, she ran into Konstantin and was so flustered when she got to the pub she threw herself a pity party.
Konstantin also managed to ruffle Steve’s feathers by accusing him of being at fault for his daughter’s death. Steve…nor John…liked that at all. Karma came calling, though, when Konstantin returned home and Maggie handed him a prenup.
Speaking of Maggie, she stunned Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Xander (Paul Telfer), and Alex with the news of her engagement. None of them thought it was a good idea. In fact, Alex and Xander both had a lot to say on the subject.
Meanwhile, Kristen schemed to get under Brady’s skin. She arranged for him to accompany Rachel on a field trip the next day, told Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) she was dating Alex, and invited Alex to spend the night so they’d be “caught.” This resulted in her and Alex getting hot and heavy.
Friday, April 26
Chanel and Johnny were surprised by two wedding gifts. One from Allie and a huge check from EJ…as well as a job offer (which Johnny turned down). The money came at the perfect time and they headed out apartment hunting. All was well until Chanel began feeling unwell.
Paulina called out EJ on letting Stefan walk free. He called her out in leaving isolation. Later, after Nicole got herself a job with Chad, EJ pushed her to write an exposé on the Mayor.
Meanwhile, Eric was bamboozled to find Leo in the room Sloan was paying for and the pair came up with the cover story that Sloan was merely helping him. This may all be for nothing, though, since news came that Dimitri is getting out of prison!
