Dool rumors: salems shocking paternity twist & dimera deception!

Salem Shakes: My Thoughts on March 2nd’s DOOL Episode!

Alright, fellow Salemites, gather ’round! Your resident, slightly-crazed, absolutely-obsessed Days of Our Lives fan and journalist is here, fresh off watching today’s (March 2, 2026) episode. And let me tell you, if you weren’t on the edge of your seat, you might need a new seat – or maybe a re-watch! This show, my friends, still has it! After watching since the very first episode aired, I sometimes think I’ve seen it all, and then Ron Carlivati and his team pull a fast one like *this*.

Today was all about the slow burn before the explosion, wasn’t it? We opened with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), looking as smug and impeccably dressed as ever, practically gloating to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) about his latest corporate maneuver. He’s convinced he’s finally cornered the market on the mysterious ‘Project Chimera’ – a new energy initiative that everyone at DiMera Enterprises is salivating over. Nicole, bless her heart, tried to inject a modicum of caution, but EJ was having none of it. “Darling,” he purred, “a DiMera always wins.” Oh, if only that were always true, EJ. If only!

Meanwhile, across town, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) were practically tearing their hair out in their sleek office. They’ve been working tirelessly to uncover what EJ is really up to, and Stefan, with that intense look of his, was convinced EJ was playing them all for fools. Gabi, ever the fiery one, was ready to storm DiMera Manor herself. “He thinks he can just waltz in and steal *our* family legacy? Not on my watch!” she declared. Their chemistry, even in frustration, is just *chef’s kiss*. I’m still rooting for them to finally find some peace, but this is Salem, so I won’t hold my breath.

But the real heart-stopper? That scene with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) at the hospital. Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), looking far too serious, delivered some utterly shocking news about baby Jude’s latest test results. Apparently, due to a rare blood disorder they’re monitoring, Jude’s blood type has been re-verified, and… well, it’s not what they previously thought. And it’s not compatible with Eric. Nor is it compatible with Sloan! My jaw hit the floor, people! Eric’s face crumpled, and Sloan looked like she’d seen a ghost. The implications! This isn’t just a minor medical issue, my friends. This is pure, unadulterated Days drama!

The Jude Paternity Puzzle: My Theory!

Okay, let’s dive deep into that Jude bombshell. If Jude’s blood type doesn’t match *either* Eric or Sloan, what the heck is going on? My mind immediately went to the baby switch that brought Jude into their lives in the first place, engineered by the truly despicable Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). Could this be a delayed consequence? Was Jude switched *again*? Or, and here’s where my soap brain goes into overdrive, is it possible that Jude isn’t Eric’s *or* Sloan’s biological child at all, but rather the child of… someone else entirely, who also had a baby at the same time? Remember the initial paternity test that named Eric? What if that was tampered with in a deeper way than we thought?

I’m leaning towards the idea that Jude isn’t Eric’s. This could explain so much. Maybe Leo was right all along with some of his wilder theories! And if not Eric, then who? Could it be a completely out-of-left-field reveal, like a secret child of Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and a one-night stand he doesn’t remember? Or, even crazier, could this be the child of a presumed-dead character, leading to their shocking return? I’ve been watching this show too long not to consider the most outlandish possibilities!

DiMera Deception: A Ghost from the Past Returns?

Now, let’s talk DiMera. That ‘Project Chimera’ has ‘trouble’ written all over it. And those shadowy scenes we’ve been getting snippets of all week? Today, we saw our mysterious figure make a call, instructing someone to “ensure EJ’s downfall.” The voice was distorted, but I SWEAR I heard a hint of that familiar, menacing purr. Call me crazy, but I’m placing my bets on a character who’s been ‘dead’ more times than I’ve changed my socks: Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)! Think about it – the corporate espionage, the desire to usurp DiMera power from EJ, the sheer audacity. It screams Kristen! Imagine her return, perhaps with a new face (a recast, heaven forbid, though Stacy is irreplaceable!) or just a dramatic reveal, ready to wreak havoc on EJ, Nicole, and practically everyone else in her path. This would be peak Days!

And if Kristen is back, you know it means trouble for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Their twisted love story always adds an extra layer of chaos. My only worry is what this means for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady. Can they ever catch a break?

Salem Shocker: Comings, Goings, and Behind-the-Scenes Buzz!

On the casting front, the buzz around the DailyDrama.com water cooler is that we might be seeing less of our beloved Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Kiriakis) in the coming months. While she’s not leaving Salem, sources say she’s asked for a reduced schedule to spend more time with family. It’s always bittersweet when our veterans take a step back, but her presence, even if less frequent, is a comfort. We love you, Maggie!

Also, whispers are growing louder about a new, younger Kiriakis entering the fold later this spring. Could this be a new love interest for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), who’s been surprisingly quiet lately, or maybe a rival for Tate Brady (Jamie Martin Mann)? Or perhaps even a previously unmentioned child of Victor? The possibilities are endless, and you know how the Kiriakis family tree is – more tangled than a plate of spaghetti!

And for those wondering about ratings, Peacock is reportedly thrilled! The recent twists, especially the Jude paternity drama and the looming DiMera takeover, have boosted viewership numbers significantly. It just goes to show you, give us good old-fashioned soap opera drama, and we will tune in!

What are YOUR theories, Salem faithful?

Are you as shocked as I am about Jude’s blood type? Do you think Kristen is behind the DiMera plotting? And who do you want to see return to Salem next? Sound off in the comments below! Let’s get this discussion going!
