The Funeral’s Explosive Secrets

At the funeral, there was a large portrait of Victor at the mausoleum and the family gathered to show their respects. Alex takes some time to talk to the portrait about his love for Maggie. Chelsea ends up showing up and gets a chance to finally meet her cousin. She has been feeling terrible about not coming to visit from London to spend more time with her grandfather. Now that he is gone, this has started to eat her up inside.

While the funeral is going on, Shawn and Belle are at the condo and they talk about how they are co-parents, but the idea of becoming a family again is out of the question. Belle then asks Brady if he would ever get back together with Theresa, but he tells her that there are some women that are just “nonredeemable.” Even though he wasn’t expecting to see Theresa, she shows up at the mausoleum while the family is mourning. Theresa gives Chelsea a huge hug and that is when she notices Alex. When they begin to chat, the flirting picks up and Theresa and Alex come to the conclusion that they are not related and things between these two may heat up.

Theresa is ready to learn more about Alex and even though she had her heart set on Brady, this chance meeting could have changed everything for her. Theresa did point out to Alex that she has been trying to get back with Brady, but Alex feels as if he wants to get closer to her and show her exactly how he has changed from his past. Alex tells Theresa that he is fun, but he can also be trouble. Of course, Theresa has never backed away from a troublemaker and she thinks that this could be a wonderful relationship in the works.

Kate and Phillip’s Encounter

While Kate is at the pub trying to catch her breath, Phillip approaches her. Kate tells him that she tried her best to protect him because she never wanted him to go to prison. Kate also thinks that Phillip is still in love with Chloe. He tells Kate that it doesn’t matter if he is or not because she has chosen someone else. As much as Kate wants to continue talking with Phillip, they have to make an appearance with the family and she tells him that they will finish chatting.

Maggie continues to mourn the loss of Victor and she goes into her bedroom to figure out how to say goodbye to him. She stares at his photo in tears and feels that she may never be able to let him go. All that she is feeling at this moment is longing to be with Victor and she just can’t come to terms with this loss. Sarah comforts Maggie in this moment and tells her that she is not alone and her family would never allow her to be.
