- Financial Ruin: EJ could systematically strip Johnny of every asset, every penny, every connection, leaving him utterly destitute and unable to pursue his dreams. Imagine Johnny, the aspiring filmmaker, suddenly unable to even afford a camera!
- Framing for a Crime: This is classic DiMera! EJ could set Johnny up for a serious crime, something that would land him in prison for years, effectively taking him out of the picture without getting his own hands (directly) dirty.
