Or is Leo, in a shocking twist, trying to protect Shawn? My mind is racing with the possibilities!

Speaking of EJ, let’s talk about the devilishly handsome, perpetually scheming DiMera heir. Our beloved EJ DiMera has always walked a tightrope between good and evil. For those of us who remember his early days, his fiery romance with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), and his constant power struggles, we know that the “evil” never truly leaves EJ. It merely lies dormant, waiting for the perfect moment to resurface.
What exactly was this “dark line” he crossed? Recent events point to his ruthless maneuvering at DiMera Enterprises. Whether it was his shady dealings with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to gain an advantage, or his continuous efforts to manipulate Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) out of their shares, EJ has been playing dirty. He’s always had a touch of Stefano (the legendary Joseph Mascolo) in him, but lately, that touch feels more like a full-blown embrace. He’s clearly putting his ambition and the DiMera name above all else, including any semblance of morality.
Could EJ, in his quest for power, have inadvertently (or perhaps even intentionally) created a situation that led to Shawn and Leo being shot? It wouldn’t be the first time a DiMera’s machinations had far-reaching, violent consequences for innocent (and not-so-innocent) Salemites. We’ve seen him try to be a better man for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), but the DiMera blood runs thick. Can he truly escape his family’s dark legacy, or is he destined to become the next Peacock-level villain we love to hate?
My heart is pounding just thinking about what’s coming next. Days of Our Lives always delivers the drama, and this preview promises to be one for the history books. I just hope my favorite legacy character makes it through!
