We’ve watched them endure so much – the manipulations of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), the terrifying ordeal with Gabigail, the very real struggle for Abigail’s mental health, and the recent departures for her to seek treatment and heal. Every time Abigail leaves, my stomach drops, wondering if this is truly the end for our beautiful Marci Miller and her incredible portrayal. But they always find their way back, don’t they? That’s the magic of Salem! What kind of reunion will this be? A tearful embrace? A passionate kiss? Or something more complicated, knowing how life in Salem always throws a curveball? I’m already stocking up on tissues!
EJ DiMera Gives Gwen the Ultimate Salem Eviction Notice!
Now, let’s talk about a character who might need a few tissues herself, though I doubt she’d admit it: Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien)! The spoilers promise that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is kicking her out. And honestly? It’s about time!
Gwen has been a tornado of chaos and manipulation since she first blew into town, claiming to be Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) long-lost daughter. From tormenting Abigail – a move no true fan can ever fully forgive – to her toxic obsession with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), and her endless schemes, Gwen has consistently proven to be a dangerous wildcard. Her recent alliance, or whatever you want to call it, with EJ has always felt like a ticking time bomb. EJ DiMera is a cunning, ruthless businessman, but he has a certain code, especially when it comes to his family’s reputation and his own interests. What could Gwen have possibly done to cross the line with the formidable Mr. DiMera? Did she try to double-cross him? Did she mess with his plans for the DiMera empire? Or perhaps, did she make a move against someone EJ actually cares about, like Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)? My money is on her trying to play a game with a master strategist and losing spectacularly.
This eviction could send Gwen spiraling, and frankly, I’m here for it! Will she crawl back to Xander, who seems to have a soft spot for every troubled woman in Salem? Or will she find a new villainous partner in crime? Gwen is like a cockroach; you can’t truly get rid of her. She’ll just find a new crack to slither into, plotting her next move. The drama is far from over for Ms. Rizczech!
Gabi and Philip Toast to… What?!
And finally, for a touch of unexpected celebration, the spoilers mention Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) are celebrating! Now THIS is interesting. DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Jake DiMera (also Brandon Barash!), and Philip’s last big love, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), is currently tangled up with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Xander. Perhaps Gabi and Philip are finding solace, and more, in each other’s arms.
Alternatively, knowing Gabi’s business acumen and Philip’s desire to prove himself at Titan Industries, could this be a professional triumph? Did they strike a major deal? Did they outmaneuver Victor Kiriakis (the late, great John Aniston) from beyond the grave? Or perhaps they’re simply celebrating a successful new line for Gabi Chic, with Philip having invested or assisted in some way. Whatever it is, any scene with Camila Banus and Jay Kenneth Johnson is bound to be sizzling with chemistry and potential for future drama. I’m hoping for romance, but I know with Gabi, it’s never just smooth sailing!

April 21st is shaping up to be an absolute must-watch episode, folks! We’ve got the emotional return of a beloved character (I’m calling it, it’s Abigail!), the spectacular downfall of a resident schemer, and a mysterious celebration that could change the romantic landscape of Salem.
