Monday, August 3: A Ghost from the DiMera Past Storms Salem!
Hold onto your hats, because Monday kicks off with a bang that will send shockwaves through the already turbulent DiMera mansion! Spoilers reveal a shocking, unexpected return that will leave Stefan (Brandon Barash) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) absolutely floored. My gut tells me this isn’t just any old return; it’s someone with a legitimate claim, someone who could throw the entire DiMera Enterprises into chaos. Could it be a long-lost cousin, Lucia DiMera, who was supposedly ‘gone forever’ after a mysterious ‘accident’ during Stefano’s reign? We all know the DiMera family tree has more branches than a rainforest, and just when you think you’ve seen them all, another one pops up with a vendetta and a secret agenda!

My beloved Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is back in the psychic hot seat on Tuesday, as she’s plagued by a terrifying premonition concerning her soulmate, John Black (Drake Hogestyn). Oh, my heart aches just thinking about it! We’ve seen John and Marlena endure everything from possessions to brainwashing, countless kidnappings, and even more ‘deaths’ than I can count on both hands. Their love story is the very fabric of this show, and any threat to John usually means Marlena is right there, fighting tooth and nail, often with her incredible psychic abilities. Is it a new villain targeting the supercouple, or a health crisis we didn’t see coming? Whatever it is, you can bet Doc will move heaven and earth to protect her ‘Black Patch’!
Meanwhile, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), ever the schemer, is set to make a scandalous offer to a surprising Salemite, stirring up trouble for the Kiriakis clan. Alex loves to stir the pot, and after his tumultuous past with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and his ongoing rivalry with Brady (Eric Martsolf), who knows what he’s planning? He could be trying to buy out a rival company, or perhaps making a play for someone’s affections in a very public and shocking way. Given his history, it’s bound to be something that will make Victor Kiriakis (the late, great John Aniston) roll his eyes from the great beyond.
Wednesday, August 5: Gabi & Stefan’s Test, EJ’s Gain!
The new DiMera threat escalates on Wednesday, forcing Gabi and Stefan to confront the returning relative. But just when they need to be united, a secret from Stefan’s past threatens to tear them apart! Could it be something from his time presumed dead? Or perhaps a forgotten tryst during his brainwashed period? Their love story has been a roller coaster of epic proportions – from a mistaken heart transplant to resurrection and re-falling in love. This secret could be the ultimate test of their bond.
Of course, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is never one to let a good crisis go to waste. He’ll use the chaos to his advantage, likely at the expense of his current relationship with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). EJ and Nicole are always teetering on the edge, especially with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) constantly lurking. This power play could be the final straw for Nicole, sending her straight back into Eric’s arms, or perhaps even further into her own emotional turmoil.
Thursday, August 6: Steam in Action & a Salem Health Scare!
My beloved ‘Steam’ – Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) – are on the case! On Thursday, our favorite super-spy and super-doc duo will race against time to uncover a mysterious health crisis affecting a beloved Salem resident. Is it connected to Marlena’s premonition? Is a new ‘virus’ sweeping through Salem, reminiscent of past plagues that have threatened our town? We know Steve’s investigative skills and Kayla’s medical expertise are second to none. They’ve saved Salem countless times, and I have no doubt they’ll get to the bottom of this, but not without some nail-biting suspense and perhaps a few close calls for our beloved ‘Patch’ and ‘Sweetness’.
Friday, August 7: A Paternity Bomb Rocks a Core Family!
And finally, the week culminates with a shocking paternity reveal that will rock one of Salem’s core families on Friday! Oh, this is the stuff soap opera dreams are made of! We’ve seen so many paternity twists over the years – from Mimi and Shawn, to Sarah and Xander, to Chloe and Daniel (or was it Brady?!). This time, the whispers are that it involves the Horton/Brady family tree. Could Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) make a surprise return, revealing a new child, or a new twist about Tate? Or perhaps something about Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer)’s Victoria, or even Eric Brady’s past? My money is on a bombshell connected to Theresa and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), perhaps a child he never knew about, or a revelation that throws Tate’s lineage into question yet again. These revelations always change everything, and I for one, cannot wait to see the fallout!
Salem is truly heating up, my friends! From DiMera power struggles to Kiriakis machinations, psychic warnings, and explosive paternity reveals, August 3-7, 2026 is going to be unforgettable. I’ve been watching since day one, and believe me, this feels like classic Days at its absolute best!
