And then there’s Philip! Our prodigal Kiriakis son, played with such compelling intensity by John-Paul Lavoisier. Remember Philip’s dramatic return, his tumultuous on-again, off-again with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and his often-fraught relationship with his father, the late, great Victor Kiriakis (the legendary John Aniston)? Philip has always walked a fine line between the upright Kiriakis legacy and the darker, more cutthroat business practices that come with running Titan. Could this ‘trap’ be corporate espionage gone wrong? Or perhaps a personal vendetta from someone he crossed in the past? My gut says Gabi and Philip are either co-conspirators in a grand scheme, or they’re about to be pitted against each other in a battle that will shake Salem to its core!
Dirty Money Backfires: The Dimera/Kiriakis Curse Continues?
Now, ‘Dirty Money Backfires’ – oh, the possibilities! This is classic Days. Who in Salem *doesn’t* have a skeleton or two (or a whole graveyard) in their financial closet? The Dimera family, led by EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel), are practically synonymous with illicit dealings. Their history is built on shady transactions, power plays, and secrets buried deeper than the tunnels under the mansion! Could EJ’s past dealings come back to haunt him, perhaps jeopardizing his relationship with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) just as they might be finding their footing?
But let’s not forget the Kiriakis empire. While Victor tried to maintain a facade of respectability, the family has certainly dabbled in its fair share of morally ambiguous ventures. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), as a Kiriakis heir, has often tried to steer clear, but sometimes the family business sucks you right back in. And what about Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)? Her mob ties are a constant threat, always lurking in the background. Or even Clyde Weston (James Read), who seems to pop up whenever dirty money is in the air. This storyline has the potential to expose long-held secrets and create devastating consequences for anyone caught in its wake. I’m predicting a major character will be implicated, and the fallout will be glorious soap opera gold!
Move-In Decisions: A New Chapter or a Familiar Mistake?
Finally, ‘Move-In Decisions.’ Ah, Salem, where moving in often means moving into a whole new world of drama! This could be anything from a blossoming romance taking the next step to a family member returning home under less-than-ideal circumstances. Could it be Philip and Chloe finally deciding to give their complicated love story another chance, perhaps with Chloe moving into the Kiriakis mansion? Or perhaps Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), ever the free spirit, making a more permanent commitment to someone (or somewhere) in Salem?
My mind also drifts to EJ and Nicole. After everything they’ve been through, and with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) always a wild card, could they be ready to truly build a life together, starting with a shared home? Or maybe it’s something entirely unexpected, like Gabi moving into a new phase of her life, leaving her past entanglements behind (unlikely, but a girl can dream!). Whatever the decision, it’s bound to shake up the dynamics and lead to new conflicts, new alliances, and, of course, new love triangles!
