Love has not been kind to Drew on General Hospital and it seems like his real-life portrayer, Cameron Mathison isn’t having it much easier. The famed star took to social media today to announce he and his wife are going their separate ways.

Cameron Mathison Shocks Fans

In their joint statement on Instagram, Cameron and Vanessa gave fans an update on what’s going on in their lives. “After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways. We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together. Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority, and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them. We remain friends, and both wish the best for one another. We sincerely appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy during this transition.”

Cameron Mathison married model Vanessa Arevalo back in 2022. The couple share two children together, son Lucas (21) and daughter Leila (18). Over the years they have walked many red carpets as a family. We wish everyone nothing but the best as they go through this difficult time.
