Samms took to Instagram Tuesday to enthuse, “We had an extraordinary fundraising ball for Starlight UK* on Friday evening at Blenheim Palace. Hosted by Jamie Laing and with a live performance by Sam Ryder. Huge thanks to everyone who worked so hard and raised £960k!”

That haul roughly translates to 1.2 MILLION US dollars. Extraordinary indeed!
*Per their official Instagram account, Starlight is “the national children’s charity that exists to champion the importance of play and defend every seriously ill child’s right to it.”
