General Hospital fans have been mourning beloved longtime star Jacklyn Zeman since May when the actress passed away from cancer. Bobbie Spencer has been off-screen ever since but now it’s time to say goodbye to the character Zeman played for more than 40 years.

A Memorial For Bobbie And Jacklyn Zeman

According to PEOPLE, Bobbie’s memorial will take place on January 10 and 11, and we don’t expect a dry eye in the house as cast members return and gather to remember a phenomenal actress, as well as the GH nurse who captured our hearts since she first arrived on the Port Charles scene in 1987.

Expect to see Ryan Carnes make a comeback at Bobbie’s son Lucas Jones, as well as memories shared by Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Scott (Kin Shriner), and Carly (Laura Wright).

Shriner was Zeman’s longest-running co-star on the 60-year-old soap as Bobbie set her sights on the married Scotty when she first came to town. At the time, he was a young law student married to college student Laura (Genie Francis).

A mysterious stranger also arrives at the memorial, which will be the catalyst for a mini story arc that takes Bobbie’s loved ones all the way to Amsterdam. In the current story, Bobbie has been there for months taking care of her late brother Luke’s (Anthony Geary) affairs. Now, both original Spencer siblings are gone.

A Magical General Hospital Moment

The entire cast was on hand to tape these special memorial episodes that are sure to be filled with flashbacks. When taping ended, something incredible happened — a rainbow appeared above their studio building, which GH shared on its official Instagram page. A rainbow

“It was incredible,” Wright, who plays Bobbie’s daughter, Carly told PEOPLE: “Everyone leaving the studio wasn’t surprised. They were like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”
