His General Hospital alter-ego was all about getting the gossip — the more salacious the better — no matter the lengths he had to go to, but actor David Lautman (ex-Grant Smoltz) is all about his lady love, Megan Li Wang…and getting her to say yes to a very special question. Mission accomplished!

David Lautman Is An Engaged Man

She said, “Yes,” enthused Lautman on Instagram beside a picture of his and his fiancée’s joined hands — hers atop his to show off the diamond stunner he’d proposed with. Then came the guffaw: “Well, technically, she said,…I don’t know who you are, yeah, sure!” But we’ll attribute that to adrenaline, shock, surprise, and uncontrollable laughter from the proposal.”

And then the schmaltz (so foreign a concept to Smoltz): “Megan, every day with you is easy; filled with joy, laughter, happiness, and of course, plenty of cats. Looking forward to forever together!”

Meanwhile, Wang took to the same platform with a post that read: “I said Yass! This relationship has been so easy because it’s right. You never get offended by my comments, instead you insult me back even better. You understand me and most importantly, you understand my cats. You’ve given them a dad they’ve always wanted. I can’t wait to have more cats with you.”
