It appears that justice has finally been served. Four individuals have been arrested and charged in connection to the shooting death of General Hospital alum Johnny Wactor.

The L.A.P.D. announced on Thursday evening that Robert Barceleau, Leonel Gutierrez and Sergio Estrada had been booked on murder charges, while a fourth individual, Frank Olano, was arrested and booked on an accessory charge. (You can read the full report below.)

Per TMZ, who were the first to break that arrests were imminent, fingerprints found at the scene of the slaying helped crack the case.
Wactor, 37, was gunned down in downtown Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday, May 25. Anita Joy, Wactor’s coworker and a friend of over a decade, recounted how he’d escorted her to a nearby parking lot where they chanced upon three men interfering with the actor’s vehicle.
Per her harrowing recollection, Wactor approached the men and “simply ]stated] that it was his car and for them to leave. Hands open to his sides in peace. Johnny was between me and the man who shot him.”
Soon after, the official GH Instagram page posted: “The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of Johnny Wactor’s untimely passing. He was truly one of a kind and a pleasure to work with each and every day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
In the days and weeks that followed the tragedy, Wactor’s godmother set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for his grieving family and several of his beloved General Hospital costars organized and participated in a march aptly named #JusticeForJohnnyWactor through the streets of Los Angeles.
