Today’s General Hospital recap for November 30, 2023, details Ava’s encounter with Dante, Nina’s confrontation with Michael, and much more.

Trouble For Ava And Nina

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was happy to see both Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Michael (Chad Duell) together at the Metro Court because he had big plans to make. He wanted Michael, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and the kids to spend time with him and Nina on Christmas Eve. He even promised to make his homemade ravioli.

When Sonny left the table to talk to Dex (Evan Hofer), Michael went into mean man mode and asked Nina what she was trying to pull. Nina informed him that she wasn’t trying to pull anything and this was all Sonny’s idea. Nina was incredulous at this point, telling Michael she did everything he wanted. It’s not her fault Sonny wants his family with him and Carly doesn’t want to buy the hotel back.

After Dex informed Sonny that Pikeman was trying to contact him. The representative needed to see him as soon as possible

On Spoon Island, Ava (Maura West) arrived home just before Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up to ask her some pointed questions about Austin’s (Roger Howarth) murder. When she didn’t ask how Austin died, Dante accused her of already knowing. Ava tried to play coy as Dante pointed out that she knew Austin best.

Ava asked him why not contact Maxie (Kirsten Storms) or the people who worked with Austin. Dante told her none of those people were recently kidnapped by the murder victim’s cousin, making her a prime suspect. In the end, Ava claimed she was at the gallery when Austin was killed but the security footage wouldn’t back up her story since she left through the back door.

After Dante left, Ava opened her mail and found a note telling her “you’re welcome” with a photo of Austin’s dead body inside.

Kristina Offers Advice To Sam

When Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) returned from grocery shopping, Kristina spotted the brochure for Westwood Academy on Sam’s desk. That was where she went so she wondered if Sam planned to send Scout there. Sam admitted Drew (Cameron Mathison) wanted to but Scout only wanted to please her father.

Kristina asked why Sam thought the school wouldn’t be a good fit for Scout, so Sam told her that her daughter was thriving in school and didn’t want the change. Kristina thought Scout would love it there, but Sam still had her doubts.

Kristina advised her sister to do what she felt was best for Scout, even if Drew disagreed. Sometimes mothers know better than fathers. Sam wanted to make Drew happy but there was something about Drew that seemed different.

However, as soon as Sam told Kristina that Scout didn’t want to attend this school, Kristina thought it was settled. Sam still believed what school her daughter attended was up to her parents, but she was disturbed that Drew decided this without even consulting her.

Molly And Willow Bond

After his argument with Molly (Kristen Vaganos), poor TJ (Tajh Bellow) needed someone to talk to and Portia (Brook Kerr) was there to listen. He worried that he made a major mistake with Molly. He explained that Molly wanted to look for a new surrogate and he told her that he wasn’t ready yet.

Portia took Molly’s side in this dispute. She didn’t think it was right to postpone their happiness. If they wanted to have a baby via surrogate, why wait?

As for Molly, she spotted Willow playing with Amelia in the park and could only think about the fact that she couldn’t carry a child. Willow invited Molly to sit down with her and the baby while reveling in the joy of being with her daughter.

Willow told Molly she was sorry that her surrogate lost the baby and suggested Molly join a support group but Molly only wanted to know how Willow found the courage to have more children after her baby died. Willow just knew she had to do it and when she learned she was pregnant, not even cancer was going to stop her from bringing her daughter into the world.

Later, as Molly looked through more photos of potential surrogates, she broke down crying on a park bench where Kristina found her.
