General Hospital spoilers for for December 5, 2023, promise an Ava and Cyrus showdown, Curtis continuing his quest, and Esme needing more help from Laura.

Ava vs. Cyrus Commences

Now that Ava (Maura West) knows that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is the big boss Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin (Roger Howarth) bowed to for months, she feels the need to have it out with the convict-turned-busboy. With Austin dead and Ava as the prime suspect in his murder, she needs answers.

To that end, Ava confronts Cyrus, a man who will spout bible verses at her and claim his innocence. He may even seem broken up by Austin’s death, but thanks to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) info, Ava will know she cannot trust this man. Look out for a game of wits between the two.

Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) all about what he’s learned involving Austin’s murder and Anna’s case. Will she have any insight into what’s really going on?

Curtis Wants The Truth

In his quest to find out who shot him and put him in a wheelchair, Curtis (Donnell Turner) pays a visit to Sonny to see what he knows. Conventional wisdom says that Curtis was nothing more than an innocent victim in the Metro Court pool shooting, with Anna (Fonola Hughes) and/or Sonny being the targets.

Curtis’s investigation is now going full speed ahead so he needs all the help he can get. Sonny might not know who the culprit is, but he might have information that Curtis can use to figure things out. Between Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Nina (Cynthia Watros), and Sonny’s help, he might find exactly what he’s looking for.

Moving Day For Esme?

Laura (Genie Francis) has been on Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) side all year, believing the young amnesiac has changed and even took her into her home. However, Esme believes she is ready for life on her own with Ace, but is she right?

Laura is the one who has to offer her reassurances once again. She will be there for her if she fails, but Laura believes Esme can do this. Too bad Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) still has problems with the idea of no longer living with his baby brother. Will Laura help her grandson resolve his issues before Esme officially leaves the apartment?
