General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 16, 2024, tease an upsetting new development, a law enforcement officer actually getting his man (or woman, as the case may be), and more. You won’t want to miss a minute of this brand-new episode.

General Hospital Spoilers

High drama is never far behind Laura (Genie Francis), especially when she’s just engaged in celebration — like marking her beloved hubby’s birthday — so it should come as no surprise that she’s soon to receive a call that puts her on high alert…but there remains a question: who does the call concern?

Is it the daughter languishing in a coma in a facility in upstate New York? Her imprisoned eldest? Her errant middle child? Or perhaps her ex-husband’s moppy-haired illegitimate spawn? Or how about that aforementioned husband of hers?

Opposite, look for John (Adam J. Harrington) to make a shocking arrest. It’s probably too much to suspect that it’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) he slaps the cuffs on — and not really that shocking — so what about Anna (Finola Hughes)? Might he be able to prove that it was she who tipped Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) off about his oncoming arrest? Not exactly the actions of a law-abiding — not to mention law-enforcing — citizen!

Meanwhile, Sonny makes a promise to a distraught Kristina (Kate Mansi) — no doubt that he’ll do everything in his power to ensure that Ava (Maura West) pays for her presumed crime.

Finally, General Hospital spoilers have Molly (Kristen Vaganos ) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) facing a heartbreaking choice and Jason (Steve Burton) hitting paydirt. Might he have found that MIA pharmacist who tampered with Sonny’s meds?
