General Hospital spoilers for for January 10, 2024, promise a heartbreaking day as Port Charles gathers to pay tribute to Bobbie Spencer. Get the tissues ready because you’re going to need them for the next two days.

A Sad Day Of Remembrance

It’s finally the day of Bobbie’s (Jacklyn Zeman) memorial at General Hospital and her friends, family, and loved ones gather to remember the nurse, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bobbie was born in Port Charles and had been a part of the GH fabric for more than 45 years but now it is time to say goodbye.

Carly (Laura Wright) is still beside herself, but so is Lucas (Ryan Carnes), the son that Bobbie raised. Bobbie’s two living children are there for one another as BJ, the daughter she lost and whose heart beats in Maxie (Kirsten Storms), is also remembered.

Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Carly come together to welcome guests to the GH chapel as Laura (Genie Francis) gives a beautiful eulogy to her friend and former sister-in-law. Bobbie was in Amsterdam to take care of Luke’s (Anthony Geary) affairs, but now she is gone.

There won’t be a dry eye in the house as people share memories of Bobbie and her photo goes on the hospital wall with other past beloved characters. It’s the end of an era for General Hospital, both the show we’ve watched for nearly 61 years and the fictional medical facility. At least she will be in good company and hopefully placed next to a photo of her late ex-husband Tony Jones (Brad Maule).

Things To Attend To

As the audience gets to enjoy flashbacks of yesteryear, Carly also has to think of the future. Did Bobbie ever finish what she started during those months in Amsterdam? Tracy (Jane Elliot) was with her. Can she help Carly solve any mysteries?

Carly learns that there is unfinished business to attend to for Bobbie. So, when the memorial ends, she has to pull herself together and do what she needs to as Bobbie’s daughter. This may take Carly and Felicia on a whole new adventure of discovery. Will they also learn more about what happened to Luke?
