General Hospital spoilers for for December 6, 2023, promise big changes for Spencer and Esme, prodding from Josslyn, confessions from Jake, and much more.

Spencer Needs To Let Go

After her talk with Laura (Genie Francis), Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) is more ready than ever to move out on her own and be a single mom to Ace without anyone helping her. She knows she can count on Laura if things go south, but she is done trying to count on Spencer.

To that end, Esme and Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) argue about her decision once again. The last thing he wants is to be a visitor in his baby brother’s life but Esme puts her foot down. She can’t rely on him anymore for anything so she refuses his help when he offers it.

Meanwhile, Trina (Tabyana Ali) has her own dilemma as she tries picking out a Christmas tree with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Marshall (Robert Gossett). Is this choice symbolic of something else?

Josslyn Presses Adam

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is more worried about hot mess Adam (Joshua Benard) than ever. He is freaking out about exams as usual and worried about failing his parents if he gets a low A on a test rather than a high A. Josslyn is sure there is more going on with Adam than meets the eye.

Will Adam open up to her about his family? Could his parents be abusive and that is why he feels so much pressure to succeed? Might we even know who his parents are?

Jake Turns To His Mom

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Jake (Hudson West) have one of their first heart-to-hearts since Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) was shot and Jake found her in Anna’s apartment. The ordeal has traumatized him and he is not sure where to turn.

On the docks, Jake tells his mother that he truly likes Charlotte but just doesn’t understand her. He never knows what she is going to do next and that scares him. Will Liz have any good advice?

As for Finn (Michael Easton), he gets some legal advice from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) he might not like. Perhaps it is time for her to get her law license back and take over for Marty (Michael E. Knight).
