General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, April 9, 2024, tease the anger inside Sonny is boiling over and he’s blaming it on Jason. All of it! Will he do something he’ll later regret?
Previously On GH: Anna confronted Brennan about his role in Pikeman and demanded answers…which he didn’t give. Lois (Rena Sofer) stepped up for Brook Lynn who suffered a “wedding dress crisis.” Josslyn and Kristina traded barbs over Sonny whom the former dubbed “a vicious thug and murderer.” Josslyn worried to Carly that Dex’s appointment to the PCPD would prove a death sentence. Sonny and Natalia grew closer, and later, Natalia failed to make a good impression on Lois. Sam bemoaned her new normal where Danny and Jason were concerned. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
The Mob King Is Angry
One would think Sonny (Maurice Benard) would be thrilled Jason (Steve Burton) is alive….and didn’t shoot his son. But, no. Sonny is heated over the whole situation. Sure, Jason’s back, but only because he’s working with the feds! How dare he! Jason should know better after all those years of living the mob life.
Not only that, Jason claims he’s only protecting Sonny but the shooter is still alive on the loose. Sonny taught him better than that! This just isn’t sitting well with the mob king and he prepares to go toe-to-toe with his former right-hand man.
A Furious Showdown
Also heated for all the wrong reasons are Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). The two face off and get into a screaming match once again. It wasn’t too long ago they agreed to play nice going forward, it looks like that’s out the window already.
Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) finds John (Adam J. Harrington) in hot water. What sort of trouble will Jagger get mixed up in this time? The bigger question, though, is will Carly lend a hand or sit back and let him suffer?
On Edge
At the same time, Kristina (Kate Mansi) has her eye on Ava (Maura West) and she does not like what she sees. Ava’s behavior rubs her all the wrong ways and she’s not happy. And, in true Kristina fashion, she lets her opinion be known!
Across town, Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) discuss her career. Is there a big change coming again in her professional life? Is being a nurse not quite enough to fill her bucket? What does Willow really want for her future?
