General Hospital spoilers for for January 26, 2024, promise a new day for Nina, a woman determined to forge on.

Nina Is Ready For Her Next Act

After being unceremoniously forced to resign from her editor position at Crimson, a job she held for eight years while she made the magazine successful, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is determined to not take things lying down. It seems to be just as tit for tat with Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) as it is for her, so why not take aim at Carly more? It’s not like Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is talking to her anyway.

Nina confides all this in Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and he has a proposition for her. Will Valentin volunteer to help get back a Carly and Drew? Might he want to bring her aboard at ELQ in a bid to crush Aurora, Michael (Chad Duell), and Drew? Why not, right

Laura Knows The Truth

Now that Laura (Genie Francis) realizes that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been playing her for a fool, she is ready to voice her regrets and experience a mea culpa moment. She really thought Esme was capable of change, but boy was she wrong. Esme is the same girl she always was and now she has to stop her.

It seems clear that she is headed to Paris to find Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) and the young couple has no idea. When they arrive in Paris safely, Sprina believes it will be smooth sailing from now on.

Finn’s Trial Starts

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) finally has his day in court and hopes to successfully tell his side of the story. He now has evidence that he was not medically negligent and hopes the jury will believe this.

However, when he takes the stand in his own defense, it is likely he will put his foot in his mouth and show a less-than-appealing bedside manner. Will Marty (Michael E. Knight) be able to work a miracle? With Finn’s gruff attitude, it may be hard to convince a jury that he is sincere. At least Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is by his side.
