This week’s General Hospital recap for March 4 – March 8, 2024, featured a wide swath of Port Charles reacting to Jason’s return from the dead.
Monday, March 4
The FBI and PCPD stormed the warehouse where Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Selena (Lydia Look) had laid their trap. Bullets were fired from above. Jason (Steve Burton), AKA Jacobs, took out the gunman, but not before he pumped a bullet into Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)!
Laura (Genie Francis) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) rushed Ace to the hospital. They arrived just as an injured Heather was rolled through the halls prompting some verbal sparring…. Cyrus also got an earful from Portia (Brook Kerr).
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) confessed her plan to give back control of Deception to Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Tracy (Jane Elliot), who was suitably impressed, convinced Brook Lynn to remain at the company, and by her side, for the foreseeable future. Brook Lynn got her grandmother to confess her interest in Gregory (Gregory Harrison).
Tuesday, March 5
Laura is relieved to learn that Ace only has an ear infection…. Heather escaped her bonds and made an attempt on Cyrus’s life. Laura rendered the madwoman unconscious…. Sonny and John (Adam J. Harrington) spar over Karen…. Sonny tasked Ava (Maura West) with retrieving the video footage obtained by Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
Jason phoned 9-1-1 and alerted them to Dante’s location and predicament before taking off with the deceased gunman…. Dex (Evan Hoffer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) stumbled upon Dante and joined Chase (Josh Swickard) in reviving him via CPR…. Jason discovered that he’d been shot in the fracas.
Wednesday, March 6
Ava, Spinelli, and Sonny are floored to see Jason on the hidden camera footage…. Maxie is convinced to try again with Spinelli, but he’s distracted by Jason’s return from the dead. Dante is rushed to GH. His friends and family gather in the waiting room.
Thursday, March 7
Laura and Carly (Laura Wright) reach out to Rocco and Danny respectively. The two boys lean on each in light of Dante’s injury…. Brook Lynn and Chase had a serious discussion about the ever-present danger his job poses. Brook Lynn insisted that she’s in it for the long haul.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) bristled when Nina (Cynthia Watros) introduced her to The Invader‘s newest hire…. Sonny and Ava debated whether or not Jason is the one out to kill him…. John placed uncooperative Maxie and Spinelli under arrest; he too learned that Jason was among the living.
Friday, March 8
Jason threw himself on Carly’s mercy. She stitched him up and told him about Bobbi’s passing. Anna and John arrived with a warrant to search the mansion…. Josslyn and Dex filled Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in on recent goings-on. Ava did much the same with Nina…. Alexis and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) reconciled.
