This week’s General Hospital recap for April 15 – 19, 2024, featured close shaves, accusations hurled, and so much more.

Monday, April 15

Carly (Laura Wright) filled Jason (Steve Burton) in on what he missed including how she discovered Sonny (Maurice Benard) in bed with Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Michael (Chad Duell) hiring Dex (Evan Hofer) to bring Sonny down. Carly rued falling in love with Sonny and leaving Jason, but Jason insisted he liked their new normal.

Gregory (Gregory Harrison) informed Tracy (Jane Elliot) that he wouldn’t be bringing a plus one to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Joshua Swickard) wedding. Tracy happily declared that he sat at the family table next to her.

Lois (Rena Sofer) stepped up for the Deception team in a major way by rushing Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to the studio and onto the stage to take over from rambling Lucy (Lynn Herring)…. Ava (Maura West) made plans to have Sonny’s pills tested and encouraged Nina to sell her half of the Metro Court to Jason despite knowing the gesture would mean nothing to Sonny.

Tuesday, April 16

Laura (Genie Francis) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) debated whether Sonny should be held accountable for his attack on Cyrus (Jeff Koper)…. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) informed Sonny that their “message” to John (Adam J. Harrington) had been delivered. Sonny filled Brick in on who was paying into Dex’s account…. Brick invited a smitten Jordan to “come out and play” but work interfered.

Ava and Sonny shared an intimate meal…. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex crossed paths. She implored him not to follow through on joining the police academy. He relayed why he feels that he must…. Gregory was the latest to give TJ (Tajh Bellow) perspective on his new normal…. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) equated her love for Mac (John J. York) to Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) love for Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and encouraged her daughter not to close the door on reconciliation.

Wednesday, April 17

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Finn (Michael Easton) met up at an AA meeting and touched base. He’s worried about his dad and she was excited about her legal hearing. They agreed to look out for each other…. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and the kids got to Finn’s (Michael Easton) apartment. The boys cooked up a storm while Liz checked in on Gregory.

Brook Lynn and Chase talked about money. They agreed to live a good life, but not like millionaires. They’d tuck her fortune away for safekeeping.

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Laura discussed all the problems with Sonny and that he needs to face the consequences of his actions. Laura took that and ran with it…right to Cyrus. She convinced her brother to pursue charges…. Anna got an update on Dex’s progress. She was told he was a great prospect on paper…but was advised to turn him away.

Thursday, April 18

Ava (Maura West) learned that Sonny’s medication had been tampered with…. Trina (Tabyana Ali) informed Ava that she wants to strike out on her own. Ava suggested she and Josslyn share a pad. Trina relayed Dex’s plan to join the PCPD. Ava gave a furious Sonny the update…. Dex undertook the PCPD’s physical exam.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) agreed to help Finn (Michael Easton) plan Chase’s bachelor party, and the man of the hour got wise…. Cyrus signed a statement identifying Sonny as his attacker…. Lois worked to convince Sonny to RSVP to Brook Lynn’s wedding and made her opinion on Ava’s continued presence at the penthouse clear…. John gave Carly his number. Michael (Chad Duell) warned Josslyn that they needed to keep an eye on the G-man.

Friday, April 19

Nina officially sold Jason her half on the Metro Court and he promptly returned it to Carly…. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) snuck into Jason’s room above Bobbie’s…. Josslyn implored Anna not to hire Dex. Anna summoned Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and begged the young woman to consider prosecuting Sonny for his attack on Cyrus…. Sonny bemoaned his many betrayers…. Sonny blasted Carly while Nina, whom Sonny also damned, watched on.
