The last time General Hospital fans saw Lucas was for Bobbie’s memorial. While there doesn’t seem to be a plan to bring him back permanently, soapies can get their fill of Ryan Carnes in his new film!

The Air He Breathes

The Passionflix film is set to star the GH alum in a romantic role sure to have everyone melting. He’s taking on the part of Tristan in The Air He Breathes, which is based on the bestselling The Elements Series by Brittany C. Cherry.

The synopsis certainly has us intrigued! This is said to be a soapy tale of love after loss and forgiveness. “As he and Liz bond over their pain, Liz finds she’s able to breathe a bit easier when Tristan’s around. When they discover a link between the deaths of their loved ones, however, will the truth tear them apart?”

Playing opposite Carnes is Kelcie Stranahan who will transform into Elizabeth. Production begins on April 8th, but no airdate has been announced.

Carnes took to Instagram to share his news. “Well, the day has come when I’m finally able to announce that I have the honor and privilege to join @toscamusk’s @passionflix family for the film adaptation of @bcherryauthor’s riveting and heart-wrenching “The Air He Breathes.”
