My mind immediately jumps to a few possibilities, and believe me, after decades of watching this show, my theories are usually spot-on!
Could Willow’s Heart Be Pulled in Two?
Could this ‘forbidden love’ be tied to Michael? Is there some unseen obstacle threatening their bond that we haven’t even considered? Or, and this is where it gets really juicy, could Willow find herself drawn to someone else entirely? Perhaps the lingering feelings for Chase, complicated by his own recent heartache? Remember when Willow and Chase had that undeniable spark, before Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier, oh how we miss her villainy!) ripped it all apart? That kind of history doesn’t just evaporate. A reunion, even if fleeting or just emotional, could certainly feel ‘forbidden’ given her commitment to Michael and Wiley. Or, could a completely new man enter her orbit, perhaps someone tied to the darker elements of Port Charles, making any attraction truly scandalous?
Liz & Dante: A New Power Couple in Port Charles?
But let’s not get tunnel vision, folks. ‘Forbidden Love’ could be a red herring for Willow and apply to another couple entirely, or even multiple couples! The GH spoilers also explicitly mention Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Now, if you’ve been watching as long as I have, you know Liz has a knack for finding herself in complicated love triangles. And Dante, our beloved super-cop, just back from the dead (literally, in a sense, after his presumed death and return from the WSB mission), is a free agent. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is tragically gone, so Dante is ripe for a new connection. Could Liz and Dante find an unexpected spark?

My money is always on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) when it comes to terrible plans. That man is a snake, and he never truly leaves. Is he still pulling strings from behind bars, or has he found a way to resurface and cause chaos for the Corinthos family? Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) have faced down countless threats, but Cyrus is particularly insidious.
Then there’s Julian Jerome (William deVry). The poor man just can’t catch a break, always drawn back into the web of deceit, usually thanks to his own poor choices. Could he be the one making an ‘alarming discovery’ that forces him to embrace a ‘terrible plan’ to protect himself or someone he loves? His connection to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and his complicated relationship with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) always make him a wildcard. And let’s not forget Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)! He’s been playing nice for a bit, but a Cassadine rarely stays out of trouble for long. Could he be making moves that would be deemed ‘terrible’ by the good people of Port Charles, perhaps to regain control of ELQ, or to further his hold on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

We’ve seen Willow grow from a lost soul to a fierce mother. We’ve watched Elizabeth navigate more personal tragedies than almost anyone. And Dante? His journey has been one of the most compelling, from his debut as Sonny’s secret son to his heartbreaking departure and triumphant return. The writers always manage to dig into that rich history to create new drama that feels both fresh and deeply rooted in the fabric of Port Charles.
