Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian are crossing over their respective Young and the Restless characters — Christine Williams and Danny Romalotti — to fellow CBS sudser The Bold and the Beautiful which has previously welcomed the likes of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown, whose first reigned terror in Genoa City) and Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott).

“We’re all so excited,” enthused Bell to Us. “What we’re doing is so authentic to the story.” — the story being musician Danny’s cross-country tour. “Of course he would have a concert in L.A. and that’s how the idea came about.”

Per the outlet, the two-episode event is currently scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, and Wednesday, August 14, and begins when “Danny and Christine are invited to the Forrester Estate for a party celebrating the success of the relaunch of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) “Brooke’s Bedroom” fashion line … or so they think.

“Little do Danny and Christine know, Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have invited them to pitch a new business venture. Not to be outdone, Danny decides to give a surprise performance of his own to share with the partygoers.”

While this won’t be Bell’s first appearance on B&B — she previously defended Ridge when he was charged with Shane McGrath’s murder — the actress promises it will be something completely different. For example, she’s trading the tailored lawyer wear for a “short black dress” befitting a rock star’s girlfriend.

Sums up Bell: “What’s great is we’re coming to L.A. just as our personalities back in the day, smiling and goofing along and being together. When you’re in a deep storyline, there’s tears and drama and now we are at our happiest.”
