To mark The Young and the Restless’ recent four-year contract renewal, leading man Eric Braeden [Victor Newman] took to Instagram to thank the people most responsible.

“Well, I’ve got some good news,” enthused Braeden who recorded himself in front of CBS Studio Center. “We were renewed for four years. I’ve been coming to this studio for 44 years now, and now we have another 4 years added to it. How wonderful is that? That’s thanks to you. To all of you. To our loyal fans all over the world. Love you all. And we never take any of this for granted, trust me.”
