The soapverse is bringing the drama on all four shows as things are heating up with some seriously soapy stories. We love our daytime chaos and we’re hoping each show goes out with a bang!

On The Bold and the Beautiful we have Carter taking a stand and exacting revenge. On Days of our Lives, we can always count on Xander to struggle with his dark energy. General Hospital has us in puddles over Sam’s untimely death. And, on The Young and the Restless, we’re getting two of the best villains back in action! What more could we want?! Well, just four more little things. Here are four storylines we’d like to see start up before 2025.

The Bold and the Beautiful – Thomas’s Return

Thomas is currently living it up in Paris with Douglas and Paris Buckingham. He’s engaged and ready to plan a wedding with his new lady love. But, what happens when Thomas and Paris find out about Hope and Carter? Jealousy. That’s what.

We want to see Thomas back on the canvas battling it out for Hope’s heart. Surely, he and Paris can break up the dynamic duo, right? These two know how to play dirty so let the love games begin!

Days of our Lives – The Real Abigail

We were all excited when we thought we were getting Abigail back only to be duped. We want redemption! We want what we deserve! We want what Chad deserves! And, that’s giving all of us his wife back. Abigail’s coffin was empty and while it’s fair to guess that Clyde moved her body we don’t think there was a body at all.

Our biggest wish is to have Marci Miller back in action as the iconic character. Let her fight her way back to her husband and be the one to take down Clyde once and for all! It would be a sweet storyline arc that would keep everyone on their toes.

General Hospital – Jason Finds Love

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been home for more than a hot minute or two but he has yet to find a soapy romantic prospect. With Britt and Sam gone, we see lots of fans rooting for Jason and Carly or Jason and Liz. Both are good. Both are great. Either option would tickle us pink.

We don’t necessarily care who wins Jason’s heart just as long as someone does. He’s a classic bad-boy lover boy who can do it all. It’s high time to give this man a lady on his arm so we can all swoon over his uber-romantic ways.

The Young and the Restless – Ian Turns on Jordan

Our two favorite soapy villains are back in action and we can’t wait to see what trouble Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) bring. Having Ian back is a dream come true for this soap watcher who loves the baddies. My big hope is that he’s playing with Jordan and he’s going to turn against her in the end. And, no, not for a redemption arc.

We want Ian to stay a villain but one who likes to go it alone. He’s the lone wolf type so it would be great to see him whip up a plot twist that gets Jordan out of the way so he can exact his own special brand of revenge. He may very well be the only bad guy who can truly get under Victor Newman’s skin.
