Michael Damian Talks Who Really Has Danny’s Heart On The Young and the Restless

Call it a redux if you must, but ever since Michael Damian and his perfect coif returned to The Young and the Restless, his alter-ego has been beseeched by the two ladies who defined his youth and adulthood, namely, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis Sumers (Michelle Stafford).

Michael Damian Knows Who’s Best For Danny

Now Danny has made it perfectly clear to Phyllis that it’s Christine that he wants, and her efforts to woo him will all be for naught — but is that necessarily the case? After all, good buddy Lauren (Tracey Bregman) gave Mr. Rockstar serious food for thought that left even him considering that maybe he does indeed have feelings for Ole Red. But what says Damian, who should know better than most?

He recently opined to Soaps In Depth that, “[Phyllis has been] doing a good sales job and Danny’s human, but he loves Cricket. I mean, that’s it. She’s the love of his life and they were just meant to be together. He just has to stay the course and don’t get distracted by all the noise.”

And, by “noise”, Damian, of course, means Phyllis’s persuasion techniques. “She is tugging on all the right heartstrings,” he mused.

Christine, or Phyllis? Phyllis, or Christine? To Damian, it makes no nevermind. “The three of us have such a great time working together. There’s a lot of love and respect on that stage.”
