Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin, The Young and the Restless) is set to reprise the role of Big Daddy Pollitt in a special presentation of Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof down south this March.

LeBlanc made the announcement via Instagram yesterday, posting a photo of him at his broodiest and writing: BIG DADDY comes to the BIG EASY @christianjulesleblanc reprises his role of Big Daddy at the TENNESSEE WILLIAMS NEW ORLEANS AND LITERARY FESTIVAL in #NewOrleans

Per the 2024 TWFest’s official schedule, the three-time Daytime Emmy award winner and actor/producer Matt de Rogatis, of the famed Ruth Stage, would be reprising, “their critically acclaimed Off Broadway roles of “Big Daddy” and “Brick” in…an edited version of Act 2 of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof…Afterwards, the two actors will participate in a talkback about bringing this Pulitzer Prize-winning play to the Off-Broadway stage.”

The performance will be held Saturday, March 23 in the Queen Anne Ballroom at the Hotel Monteleone. Tickets cost $20.

LeBlanc first starred as the less-than-gentle southern patriarch in the summer 2022 (following several reschedules). At the time he enthused on Instagram that appearing in the storied play was, “BUCKET LIST STUFF!!!” and ruminating that, “Some of the most transformative moments in my life have been spent sitting in the gods of a NYC Theater watching my deepest secrets reflected in the liberating, awful, merciless, joyful, ridiculous mirror of the stage. When you are given a profound gift like this, I can only quote Tennessee’s Big Daddy Pollit, “The sky looks different to me.”
