Tucker (Trevor St. John) through Audra (Zuleyka Silver) for a loop on Monday when we showed Ashley (Eileen Davidson) the door, but that’s nothing compared to what he has in store for her by week’s end.

Audra Charles Is Left (Momentarily) Speechless

“When Tucker stood his ground with Ashley, Audra was able to see him in a new light and felt that for once Tucker put her before Ashley,” head writer/executive producer Josh Griffith tees up for Soap Opera Digest. “Audra is never insecure but she’s not a very trusting person, especially when it comes to Tucker and their past.”

Come the next morning, Tucker, who despite himself is concerned for Ashley and her well-being, slips out of his hotel room leaving behind a note for Audra to find. Upon returning, the mogul will relay that he was off running an important errand. Relays Griffith, “Audra takes Tucker at his word and refuses to give in to her first impulse of accusing him of running off to see Ashley.”

Tucker then spirits Audra off to a romantic rendezvous during which they sip champagne and he asks her to marry him. “Audra is completely stunned by Tucker’s proposal,” teases Griffith. “However, she is able to maintain the perspective that this is a huge shift in their relationship. As we know, Audra likes to remain in complete control and how she responds to Tucker’s proposal will be no different.”
