The Young and the Restless spoilers for for January 29, 2024, promise a nerve-wracking dinner date and feuding old enemies.
Summer And Chance Go On A Date
It looks like a dream come true for Summer (Alison Lanier) when she and Chance (Conner Floyd) finally go on a date at the Genoa City Athletic Club. She has lusted over this man for months on end and thought she’d never have a chance with chance, but now her chance has arrived in every way.
With her divorce from Kyle (Michael Mealor) final, Summer throws caution to the wind, allowing Chance to see a whole new side of her. Will he like this side or believe they are better off as friends? Chance wasn’t ready for that breakup with Sharon (Sharon Case), but at least he has Summer there to pick up the pieces.
Are Summer and Chance the couple to watch or will a curveball be thrown in their way almost immediately?
Nikki’s On A Warpath
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) once again swallows her pride and bites her tongue when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is nasty to her at the office. Audra is just trying to help, but Nikki is acting cold, distant, and harsh. She doesn’t want this woman invading her space so Audra quietly makes a retreat while seething inside. How long can her job even last?
Audra is desperate to get to the top but is starting to realize that Newman Enterprises might not be the right place for her to do it. After all, it’s a family company just like Jabot.
Speaking of the Newmans, the Abbotts, and Nikki, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) disagree on how to handle her drinking situation. Jack is willing to be the supportive friend and sponsor while Victor only wants to comfort and shield his wife.
Somehow, Nikki is going to have to get the help she needs but will that help come from her husband, her ex-husband, or perhaps herself? It’s too bad that more bad news is coming down the pike that will rock Nikki’s whole world again. Oh, Jordan (Colleen Zenk), where are you?
