It’s been quite some time since a Newman/Abbott war turned Genoa City upside down. The days of peace and calm are over now, though. It was over the second Jack (Peter Bergman) hit up Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) hotel room for the pity party that nearly ended his life. Victor (Eric Braeden) can put up with a lot from his wife’s ex, but that crossed every single line. Now, Jack must pay!
Over the past few weeks, Victor has spent nearly every waking moment either torturing Jordan (Colleen Zenk) until her rescue, and getting his ducks in a row to destroy Jack Abbott! He’s realigned the power dynamic at Newman, he’s roped Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck), and he’s made it clear his wife is to stay away from her bestie. Victor is ready to rumble and Jack will not see this coming!
While Victor busies himself with revenge, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gets a taste of Diane’s (Susan Walters) wrath. Diane isn’t holding back about her disdain for her husband’s good buddy and pal. She was against their friendship, she was against Jack being Nikki’s sponsor, and now she’s against them ever seeing each other again. Enough is enough! Diane is fed up!
Outside of all that fiery drama, The Young and the Restless hints Billy (Jason Thompson) is turning on his charms with his ex. No, no, this isn’t about flirting or getting Lily (Christel Khalil) back. Instead, this is about business. Billy needs Lily on his side and he’s playing nice to make that happen. Will it work, though? Will he sweet-talk Lily into turning against her family and standing with him instead?
