My gut tells me this has to do with solidifying her power at Newman Enterprises, perhaps trying to gain an edge against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who Victor is always either coddling or battling. Victoria has always resented Adam’s hold on Victor’s attention. Could she be trying to leverage Kyle to gain access to Jabot’s resources or secrets, perhaps to undermine a competitor or even bolster Newman’s position?

And then there’s Kyle. Oh, Kyle. Our dashing Abbott heir has certainly matured since his days as a reckless playboy, but he’s still prone to getting caught up in situations way over his head. We’ve seen Victor and Victoria lock horns countless times over the years – their love for each other is undeniable, but their thirst for control is equally strong.
