Eric Braeden’s portrayal of this iconic character is so ingrained in the show’s DNA that you can almost hear Victor’s growl through the television screen.
Whether it was Adam trying to take over the company with ‘Dark Horse,’ Nick (Joshua Morrow) making a play for power, or Victoria (Amelia Heinle) attempting to assert her independence with Newman-Locke, Victor has always reeled them back in. He sees himself as the protector, the puppet master, the ultimate authority. And anyone who dares to challenge that authority, especially when it involves his son and a woman he once deemed ‘unsuitable’ for the Newman name, is in for a world of hurt.
