Fans were greatly concerned when Conner Floyd’s name was dropped from The Young and the Restless’ closing credits — this in spite of his blossoming onscreen romance with Allison Lanier’s Summer and Chance’s joining the Chancellor-Winters C-suite. However, the latest update to the crawl indicates a simple shift in status rather than an imminent exit.
Conner Floyd No Longer A Contract Player
Where once he was a contract player, Floyd is now amongst the ranks of the recurring cast…a fine group to be sure!
Floyd first joined the CBS sudser in November 2021, succeeding Donny Boaz in the role. (Boaz was himself a recast, having inherited the part from John Driscoll.)
