This week’s The Young and the Restless recap for the week of July 8th, 2024, featured Victor upping his game, Chelsea’s guilt eating away at her, Summer crossing Kyle, and so much more!

Monday, July 8th
It was a great day for Traci (Beth Maitland). She took a video call from Jack (Peter Bergman) before opening the door to Danny (Michael Damian) and Christine (Lauralee Bell). Adding to her joy was introducing them to Alan (Christopher Cousins). Oh, and she and Alan shared a kiss!
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) privately decided to not get involved in Summer (Allison Lanier) and Kyle’s (Micheal Mealor) drama. Who did get involved was Daniel (Michael Graziadei). He ran into Kyle at Society and poked the bear…. Later, Daniel and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) shared a few jokes while Kyle got into it with Jack.
Over at Crimson Lights, Victor (Eric Braeden) shared some words of wisdom with his granddaughter. He warned Claire to keep her boundaries up with Kyle. She didn’t want to be the nanny turned lover, right?
Tuesday, July 9th
Jack updated Diane (Susan Walter) about Kyle being Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) new co-CEO. She didn’t like it. He also didn’t like it. They decided he was being used as a weapon. As for Kyle, he and Audra met with Victor to go over their gameplay.
Cheating cheater Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was home and ran straight to Billy (Jason Thompson). She said her homecoming was due to heartbreak and stress and Billy believed her. Adam said very much the same to Sally (Courtney Hope).
Claire got a history lesson on the Newman-Abbott drama from her mom and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Kyle happened upon them and privately thanked her for keeping his news to herself. He then dropped by Jabot to have it out with his mom and dad…which led to Jack running to Newman to scream at Victor.
Wednesday, July 10th
On this episode of The Young and the Restless Sharon (Sharon Case) cried over snaps of Cassie until she was interrupted by Lucy who was there to see Faith. Sharon told her about her fallen daughter until Faith came home and ushered Lucy out the door. Faith became worried about her mother’s emotional state.
Nate (Sean Kanan) questioned Audra’s alliance with Kyle but Audra wasn’t about to spill. She jokingly called him jealous and fluffed off the conversation. She did warn him she was facing a threat, though.
Summer stormed the Abbott estate to have it out with Kyle. She warned him to not try to move with Harrison. He reminded her she was not even Harrison’s mother and had no say. Ouch. Thankfully, Claire interrupted before more feelings were hurt.
Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom) had a talk about their future. She wanted to go back to Portugal to visit her dad. They went to talk to Lucy about it but Daniel was accosted by Summer, instead. At the same time, Lucy learned about her dad’s role in Cassie’s death.
Thursday, July 11th
Harrison (Redding Munsell) and Claire had a grand time at the park, even more so when they ran into Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and the kids. Claire even made headway with her sister.
Adam and Chelsea played with fire when they lunched with Sally and Billy. Thankfully, they kept themselves in check. Good news came from the clinic and everyone celebrated Connor having another breakthrough. Chelsea and Adam ran off to take a video chat with their son.
Lily (Christel Khalil) shocked Devon by needing more time to decide where her loyalties lie. She’s not sure where she wants to work. Later, Billy had a serious talk with Lily about the future of Chancellor. She was in. All the way in. He promised she wouldn’t regret it,
Friday, July 12th
Connor had a huge breakthrough, which pleased Adam and Chelsea. Thankfully, not enough to sleep together again. Chelsea left and Victor came over. He had a proposition for his son. Is he in on taking over Newman Media? Oh, and son, The Great Victor Newman owns Glissade now, too!
Nate shows up at the club and spies Audra. He texted her, but she ignored him. He texts again and she finally looks up at him. They laughed. He whisked her off to chill out and watch the sunset….and talk about her working with Kyle.
Sally and Summer are at Society discussing her designs. Summer was super distracted, though. Eventually, Chelsea showed up and Summer announced her plan to make Sally the lead designer of a new line. Everyone was happy…until Chelsea and Sally were alone and cried over Adam being broken.
