The Young and the Restless is honing Sharon Case today with a special episode that looks back on Sharon’s proudest and most tragic moments in Genoa City. Many of those moments include her leading man, Joshua Morrow’s Nick Newman. What better time for him to tout her talents?!
Joshua Morrow Honors Sharon Case
Right now, Sharon is in quite a battle with her inner demons and has just committed a horrifying murder (or is Heather really dead?). Watching Case go through this storyline is a sight to see for viewers and the cast alike. This isn’t lost on Morrow. “Sharon is just such an incredible talent,” Morrow told Soap Opera Digest. “I think the Sharon character has been asked to do more on this show than anyone…and she just knocks it out of the park.”

As for his thoughts on Linden Ashby on set as Cameron egging Sharon on? Morrow has high praise for him, too. “What Sharon and Linden have been doing with this storyline is awesome to watch,” Joshua boasts. “Their chemistry together and the way they play off each other … It’s just awesome and it’s because of who Sharon is and who Linden is.”
A Shick Runion?
After Sharon’s latest trip down to the darkness, is there any hope of her seeing the light? Of course! But, does that also mean there’s hope for ‘Shick’ fans? “Our careers will always be linked because we basically came on at the same time,” Morrow teases. “And where else [but on soaps] can you see a 30-year relationship? And that’s what this is. Whether they’re romantically involved or not, it’s a 30-year relationship, and I am just incredibly blessed to be able to share the canvas with her for this long. I’m a big fan of Sharon Case.”
