The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for January 17, 2024, a good day for the Forresters but a bad day for poor Poppy.
Eric Is Coming Home
It’s been a very long road for Eric Forrester (John McCook) since learning he had arthritis that suddenly turned into a deadly mystery disease that nearly did him in. Heck, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was even ready to have Finn (Tanner Novlan) pull the plug before Eric’s eyes started fluttering.
Ridge still worried he did the wrong thing by allowing his father to live, but his worries seem to have all been for naught. Eric’s condition is improving by the day and he is now doing so well that he doesn’t even have to be in the hospital anymore.
Donna (Jennifer Gareis), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Kate (Heather Tom) and the Forresters are thrilled to learn that Eric can now go home. They get his mansion ready for him as Eric looks forward to the next chapter in his life. Will he finally design his true final line without thinking about winning a silly little contest? Maybe it really is time for Eric and Ridge to team up as dressmakers.

Li Isn’t Happy — As Usual
Li (Naomi Matsuda) continues to be the big sister from hell who thinks she is better than her sibling in every way. In fact, Li still thinks she can run Poppy’s (Romy Park) life and is stunned when she learns that Poppy is now dating Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
For some reason, Li is against this despite how good Bill was to her back in 2022. He rescued her from an alley after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) nearly killed her but she doesn’t want to see Bill and Poppy together.
Will Poppy finally decide that enough is enough with her sister and do whatever she wants to do? Could there be more to their rivalry than Li let on when she explained it all to Finn? Li seems a little too angry if her sister only had an affair with a doctor back in the day. What else are these sisters hiding?
