General Hospital spoilers for for January 17, 2024, promise Nina deciding Carly should know the whole truth and nothing but about the SEC secret.
Will Nina Go Scorched Earth?
After having the identity of both of her children kept from her without even provoking Carly (Laura Wright) to keep the Nelle (Chloe Lanier) part a secret, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is just about done taking all the blame for the war she has with Carly. Yes, Carly did bad things to her and she did bad things to Carly, but Nina wasn’t the only one doing bad things.
During another confrontation with Carly in the hospital halls, Nina lets her rival know that Michael knew all about Nina being the informant for months. In fact, he emotionally blackmailed Nina with the information, forced her to not see Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and to offer to sell the Metro Court back to Carly.
Will Carly even believe Nina or does she need Willow to confirm what Nina said? Hopefully, Carly goes off on her son the way she goes off on everyone else.
Meanwhile, Michael finds himself facing off with Ned. Since they were both blackmailing Nina with the SEC secret, this could get interesting…
Esme Becomes Desperate
Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) may be relieved that she managed to escape a jail sentence once again, but that does not mean her life is perfect. She has all her memories back and hates the fact that Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is with Trina (Tabyana Ali) more than ever. She still wants the young man for herself. But that’s the least of her problems.

What will Esme do once she learns that Ace is not with Spencer? Will he tell her where Ace really is or will he lie? Either way, expect Esme to do whatever it takes to get her baby back.
A Clue For ‘Fiz’
Finn (Michael Easton) remains concerned about his malpractice suit with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) by his side to tell him just how wonderful and amazing he is. She is also there to help him beat this lawsuit.
To that end, the pair finds a clue as to what really happened to his tapeworm patient that might get him off the hook.
