This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of April 15th, 2024, featured a near-tragedy avoided, the DiMera siblings readying for war, Maggie offering herself up for marriage, and so much more.
Monday, April 8
Stefan (Brandon Barash) lawyered up and showed EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) who was boss. He demanded EJ free him…or else. With no other choice, EJ convinced the judge to let Stefan go.
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) ran into Tate (Leo Howard), Theresa (Emily O’Brien), and Brady (Eric Martsolf) at the club and she gave them her letters. It didn’t make much of a difference, though. At least not for Tate’s parents. Later, the group got to the press conference just in time to watch it end. And, it wasn’t what they expected, at all.
Over at the cabin, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) donned winter gear and enjoyed the snow. After going back out for wood, it all went wrong, though. Johnny came back but Chanel did not. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Tuesday, April 9
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Johnny began to panic when they realized Chanel left her phone in the cabin. They panicked more when Paulina (Jackée Harry) kept calling. They tried to cover as to not worry her, but Julie accidentally spilled the news. Paulina, who is still radioactive, snuck out of the hospital to join the search.
EJ was put in the hot seat by Chad (Billy Flynn) and Xander (Paul Telfer) but he took it in stride. Later, tempers raged when Stefan showed up and announced he was a free man. Stefan demanded his dues from EJ and threatened to rat him out if he didn’t follow through on their deal. Meanwhile, Chad apologized to Nicole for his family being a mess.
Alone, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) discussed the possibility that Stefan helped set him up. Additionally, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) packed her up and hit the square just in time to watch the drama unfold.
Wednesday, April 10
Julie and Johnny were worried sick as the roads were blocked and emergency crews couldn’t get through. The storm wasn’t going to stop Paulina, though. She commandeered a snow plow and rescued her daughter. It’s just too bad she’s exposed them all to radiation now.
Back in Salem, John (Drake Hogestyn) got an update on Konstantin’s wife. Marlena (Deidre Hall) wondered if he was ready to handle more info. Sloan pretended to fix the family budget and sent Eric off to find a job. She suggested the Invader and called Leo to ensure her man was hired. Sadly, when Sloan called Leo for an update, Eric overheard and he was not pleased.
Meanwhile, Konstantin flipped when he realized The Pawn card was gone. He flipped again when Maggie’s lawyers couldn’t help with his visa. His day brightened a whole lot when Maggie proposed! Well, that’s one way to keep him around.
Thursday, April 11
Ava finished moving out, which Tripp (Lucas Adams) didn’t like. He suspected something was up with his mom. This led to a talk with Wendy (Victoria Grace) about her fears. He suggested she get therapy to help her with the trauma.
EJ put Stefan in charge of the Bistro, a point he bragged to Ava about when he saw her dining at the pub. The two got into it and Harris got involved. He and EJ made threats to ruin each other.
Meanwhile, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) informed Theresa that Bella is failing. She ran to Maggie to cry about it which had Maggie running to Alex. Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Konstantin, who was now officially green-card engaged to Maggie, put Theresa in her place.
Additionally, Stefan and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) decided to team up and take EJ down…by making Kristen the CEO of DiMera.
Friday, April 12
Konstantin surprised Maggie by presenting her with his mother’s ring. She was reluctant to take it, but still happy to marry him and help a friend out. What’s a little sham green card marriage between friends?
Meanwhile, Thomas had a great time playing with his new card at the pub…until he went home and had to give it back to Konstantin. Also at the pub were Marlena and John while babysitting Jude. John was treated to some special moments with the baby when Jude started fussing and he took him outside for a minute.
Everett (Blake Berris) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) discussed his therapy and reluctance to sign the divorce papers and he shocked her by doing just that. He even signed them as Robert Stein (of course, he had an evil look on his face while he did it, but at least he did it.) Meanwhile, Jada (Elia Cantu) thanked Rafe (Galen Gering) after witnessing him rip into Everett earlier. She then asked him to ask her to move in.
