This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of April 29th, 2024, featured Wendy and Tripp packing up for Hong Kong, Chanel and Johnny’s surprise pregnancy taking a turn, Leo ratting out Sloan, Sloan dropping a massive paternity bombshell, and so much more!
Monday, April 29
Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) said goodbye to Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Ava (Tamara Braun). Kayla wasn’t happy to have Ava over, but now wasn’t the time for drama. And, don’t worry, it’s not goodbye forever. The couple is just taking a trip and coming home…eventually.
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) spent the morning canoodling and waiting for Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) to interrupt, but she didn’t, she was already at the pub with Brady (Eric Martsolf). The plan backfired even more when Rachel announced she forged her mom’s signature on the permission slip so they had no reason to backtrack.
Meanwhile, Theresa (Emily O’Brien) slipped into something wildly uncomfortable with a plan to seduce Alex and was upset to find he didn’t sleep in his bed. Instead, she suffered through a visit with Konstantin (John Kapelos), and later, when Alex finally arrived, she was horrified to hear he slept with Kristen.
Later, Konstantin stormed into John’s (Drake Hogestyn) office and flashed The Pawn card. Poor John is now under his control.
Tuesday, April 30
Paulina (Jackée Harry) was thrilled to be in the clear and back at work…until Chad (Billy Flynn) ruined her good vibe by calling her out for leaving isolation. She reminded him all was well and no one was hurt. Sadly, that may not be true. By the end of the day, Chanel (Raven Bowens) fell so ill Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Paulina pushed her to go to the hospital. As for Chad, he went to Julie to ask her about the cabin fiasco.
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) told Julie about her engagement to Konstantin and Julie was reluctantly supportive. At least her friend has a prenup, right? Speaking of Konstantin, he toyed with John until Marlena (Deidre Hall) interrupted. And, good thing she did because she and John quickly realized something was off when John didn’t remember his conversation with The Kon…again.
Additionally, Marlena called out Everett (Blake Berris) on quitting therapy and he all but called her a hack. Later, he lied to Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and said the good doc discharged him and he has decided he doesn’t care about his past. Period.
Wednesday, May 1
Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) came down on Eric (Greg Vaughan) for not trusting her…even after he caught her lying. She stormed off after throwing all her financial info on the table for his viewing pleasure. Shortly after, he got a call from Chad to come in. Yes, he’s hired. Yes, he’ll start ASAP. In fact, his first assignment will be working alongside Nicole!
As for Sloan, she cut Leo (Greg Rikaart) off and suggested he leave town when Dimitri was released. He toyed with the idea but he’d need money first. Hmm…maybe he can sell the baby secret to EJ? Unfortunately, Leo’s dreams came crashing down when he got a Dear John letter from his beloved.
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) spent his day at the DiMera office and called Paulina for a meeting. She brushed him off which set him off big time! The reason, however, was that Paulina was at the hospital with Chanel. No, she doesn’t have radiation poisoning…she’s pregnant! The radiation exposure made this high risk, though, and Kayla warned this may spell bad news for her baby.
Thursday, May 2
Nicole was excited to work with Eric again, but not excited enough to tell her husband about her new coworker. Eric didn’t exactly want to tell Sloan, either. Not helping matters was Sloan spying them in the square tending to baby Jude.
Speaking of Sloan, she laid down the law with Leo again and reminded him he was cut off. This was a huge mistake on her part. No sooner did Sloan say that than a drunk Leo ran off to the DiMera mansion to sell the secret to EJ.
Ava not only got herself a room at the pub, but a job, too! Later, she and Harris (Steve Burton) got caught searching for the black book by Stefan (Brandon Barash), who ultimately agreed to help. Three heads were better than two and the book turned up in a wine bottle. Back at the pub, Marlena confided in Roman that she was worried about John.
Additionally, Stefan urged Kristen to get Gabi out of prison if she wanted his help becoming CEO. All they had to do was prove her innocence, right?
Friday, May 3
Leo spoke in riddles until EJ squeezed the truth out of him. Leo dropped the bomb that his baby is alive and living with Sloan and Eric. When EJ realized Leo was telling the truth, he ran over to Sloan’s to confront her. Yes, the baby is Nicole’s, she admitted, but that child is NOT EJ’s!
At the same time, Eric at Leo’s room fully intending to take him down after Sloan said he was blackmailing her. Instead, Leo was too drunk and sad, so Eric ended up caring for him. Before falling asleep, Leo said something about needing to confess.
As for Nicole, she got a visit from Marlena who talked Holly (Ashley Puzemis) through her anxiety and afterward had a talk with Nicole. She suggested Nicole and Eric still have feelings for each other.
Additionally, Maggie told John and Marlena about her wedding plans. Neither was thrilled. Later, Konstantin got John alone, flashed The Pawn card, and ordered him to break into the safe and get the prenup, which John did.
