Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 23, 2024, promise a scary day for Paulina, a happy day for ‘Xarah’, and a consequential day for Stephanie and Everett.
Paulina’s Worst Nightmare
Paulina (Jackee Harry) avoided her symptoms for as long as she could until Chanel (Raven Bowens) insisted she be checked out. Cancer was her worst fear but now she has to face it head-on as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) helps her understand her diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
This only causes Paulina to have a panic attack, which Chanel knows she is prone to. At least Chanel and Abe (James Reynolds) are there to comfort Paulina and lend support, but she might need Marlena as she deals with this nightmare. The panic attacks could derail treatment and leave Paulina in worse shape than ever.
More Than Just Roomies?
Now that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is all unpacked — including her Xander Box — she and Xander (Paul Telfer) settle in as roommates and co-parents but should there be more? That is what they both wonder as the sexual tension between them is palpable.
They were determined to keep things platonic but that might be easier said than done. There are two bedrooms but one could always become a nursery and Xander and Sarah could share the other. Will the just roommates thing be over before it really begins?
A Tangled Mess For Stephanie
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) seems pleased when Ava (Tamara Braun) contacts her to do PR for The Bistro, which Ava thinks it needs now that Harris’s (Steve Burton) raid seems to have scared customers away. Stephanie might think this is a great opportunity but she has no idea what she is getting herself into.
Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Everett (Blake Berris) continue working together to figure out who is behind Salem’s new drug ring for their investigative report. However, with Everett wondering what Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) role might be, he is quite concerned when Stefan asks Chad for a favor.
Will Chad do what his brother wants or will he turn him down? Everett may be about to learn how the DiMera siblings operate and he’s not going to like it.
