Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tate’s Fate Takes A Turn For The Better

Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 16, 2024, promise some relief for Brady and Theresa and more fears for Stefan and Ava.

Did EJ Rethink Things?

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) have been beside themselves about Tate’s (Jamie Martin Mann) situation. After all, he is a 16-year-old boy in an adult prison and was assaulted in under a day. No lawyer has been able to be much help and they’re not sure what else they can do.

However, things are looking up on Tuesday when Brady and Theresa get some good news about Tate. After his conversation with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) on Friday about Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) drinking and drug use, does EJ (Daniel Feuerriegek) realize he has been too hard on Tate? Perhaps he wonders if the drugs were really Holly’s after all and allows Tate to go home. That would certainly be a mea culpa for this DiMera.

Meanwhile, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) apologizes to Justin (Wally Kurth) for coming down on him hard about how he was representing Tate. Alex is lucky that Justin is a forgiving man and still thinks of Alex as the son he raised (because he is).

Harris Springs Into Action

Harris (Steve Burton) takes matters into his own hands when he leads a raid at The Bistro to try and figure out if the drugs are being run through the restaurant Ava (Tamara Braun) manages. Both Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Ava find themselves scrambling when the cops arrive.

Will they be able to hide the evidence and will Ava manage to talk herself out of another sticky situation with Harris? The man certainly has a blind spot for her.

A Dinner Party Gone Awry

Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) is a bundle of nerves when she and Eric (Greg Vaughan) host John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) for dinner in her apartment. She tries to go into relaxation mode with a few drinks, but of course that backfires on her.

John and Marlena are somewhat amused when a drunk Sloan greets them and proceeds to stumble over her words. The evening just goes from bad to worse for Sloan as her guilt and Marlena’s intimidating presence overwhelm her.
