During the Writers Guild and the Screen Actors strikes, good news was in short supply. Enter Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) to announce that he and fellow General Hospital alum William deVry (ex-Julian Jerome) had an exciting new project in the works.

“Colt & McCoy: Coming After the SAG & WGA Strike,” informed the actor on X (formerly Twitter). The post concluded with the promise that more “deets” were to follow — but it was radio silence subsequently. Until now!

Actress Rebecca Staab, herself a cast mate of the much lamented General Hospital spinoff, Port Charles, recently took to social media with a snap of her and hubby deVry done up in snazzy costume. “Shooting the promo for COLT AND MCQUEEN.”
Per IMDB, the name-changed series will concern “2 former LAPD Detectives, Colt and McQueen, [who] agree to assist outgoing LAPD Chief in solving cold cases for cash and potential LAPD reinstatement. Colt and McQueen look to reverse their dishonorable discharges and rebuild their lives.”
deVry will co-headline as Mitch Colt, while Shriner will tackle Mickey McQueen. Meanwhile, Staab will appear as…wait for it…”Leather Jacket.”
