The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 8, 2024, tease Nikki is fighting a losing battle against the demon alcohol. What is it going to take to get her sober once and for all?
Previously On Y&R: Adam and Chelsea flew home (after being asked to leave…off-screen). He ran to Sally to blast the facility and call it a scam. Chelsea discussed how great the place was with Billy. She felt guilty leaving him but understood she and Adam are triggers and needed to go. As for Billy, he and Lily agreed working together was a good thing. Later, Nick and Lily ran into each other at the club and decided to grab some lunch…together. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Drunk Nikki
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin) have lovely plans for their future and are looking forward to the day Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is caught and locked away so they can truly live freely. But, for now, it’s nice to be at the ranch and it’s good for Claire to bond with the family. It’s just too bad things are so messy with her grandma.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) puts up a good front but any second she gets alone she’ll be hitting the bottle. One swig here, another sip there, and it won’t be long before she’s intoxicated. Can she really pull off hiding her bad habit from everyone in the house? It’s only a matter of time before she’s caught.
Stressful Times
Meanwhile, Summer (Allison Lanier) and Chance (Conner Floyd) hit up society for a sweet little date. The meet-up starts with a kiss, but will it end with one, too? It seems there may be some tension coming between these two.
Could it be the stress at the office that has Chance on edge? Summer’s whole family is on high alert so we’re sure she’s stressing too. Not to mention her mother is back to being a stalker maniac. Maybe these two can help each other blow off some steam and distract each other from all their problems.
